Dans le cadre de sa participation à l’événement de haut niveau « Droits de l’homme 75 », organisé par le Haut-Commissariat des Nations Unies aux droits de l’homme, à Genève, les 11 et 12 décembre 2023, en commémoration du 75e anniversaire de la Déclaration universelle des droits de l’homme, M. Nabil Ammar, Ministre des Affaires Etrangères, de la Migration et des Tunisiens à l’Etranger a pris part, ce jour, à la séance d’annonces des engagements par les Délégations gouvernementales participantes.
Dans sa déclaration, au nom de la Tunisie, prononcée à cette occasion, M. le Ministre a annoncé les engagements suivants pris par notre pays dans le cadre de cette manifestation :
– Poursuivre le renforcement du cadre législatif et juridique conforme aux normes internationales dans le domaine des droits de l’homme.
– Achever la mise en place d’institutions constitutionnelles et autres, pour soutenir les efforts visant à renforcer le système des droits de l’homme.
– Continuer à travailler sur la promotion du développement local et régional et la lutte contre la pauvreté et les disparités régionales, dans le cadre d’une approche globale et intégrée.
– Poursuivre les efforts de lutte contre toutes les formes de violence à l’égard des femmes et des filles
– Continuer le travail visant à soutenir les droits imprescriptibles et inaliénables du peuple palestinien à l’autodétermination et à la récupération de toutes ses terres usurpées.

Within the framework of his participation in the high-level event « Human rights 75 », organized by the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights in Geneva on 11 and 12 December 2023, in commemoration of the 75th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, Mr. Nabil Ammar, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad, took part today in the announcements session of the commitments made by the participating government delegations.
In his statement, pronounced in the name of Tunisia, the Minister announced the following pledges:
– Continue strengthening the legislative and legal framework in the field of human rights in conformity with international standards.
– Complete the establishment of constitutional and other institutions to support efforts aiming at strengthening the human rights system.
– Continue to promote local and regional development and combat poverty as well as regional inequalities, within a comprehensive and integrated approach.
– Carry on efforts to address all forms of violence against women and girls.
– Continue supporting the Palestinian people’s imprescriptible and inalienable rights to self-determination and to the restoration of all of their stolen territories.
