Beyond the sporting competition, the event was fully aligned with the national initiative « Tunisia, Arab Tourism Capital 2027: Heritage, Business and Discovery, » which aims to strengthen the country’s international profile by promoting its cultural heritage, economic potential and tourism assets.
Through this initiative, the Republic of Tunisia reaffirms its commitment to positioning major international events as strategic drivers of sustainable development, cultural diplomacy and economic attractiveness. The UAE President Cup serves as a unique platform to showcase Tunisia as an open, dynamic and welcoming destination capable of hosting world-class events while celebrating its rich equestrian heritage, an essential part of Arab history and identity.

It also demonstrated how collaborative partnerships can contribute to promoting tourism, culture, international cooperation and sustainable growth.
By bringing together international delegations, horse racing professionals, media representatives and thousands of spectators, the 2026 UAE President Cup reaffirmed the power of sport as a catalyst for destination branding and international cooperation. The event stands as a strong contribution to the Republic of Tunisia’s vision of making « Tunisia, Arab Tourism Capital 2027 » a benchmark where heritage, business and discovery come together to enhance the country’s influence across the Arab world, Africa and the international community.
