A national honor for an extraordinary journey. Wissem Sammoud, youth leader and representative of JCI Ksar Saïd, has proudly secured 1st place in the prestigious TOYP Tunisia 2025 program (Ten Outstanding Young Persons) under the « Humanitarian and/or Voluntary Leadership » category.
This highly respected recognition, awarded by JCI Tunisia, celebrates Wissem’s deep commitment to human rights, support for people living with rare diseases, and tireless advocacy for dignity, inclusion, and justice.

As an activist, trainer, and a person living with a rare disease, Wissem leads with resilience and purpose. He has long fought to break the silence surrounding hemophilia, advocate for equal access to healthcare, and amplify the voices of the unheard. He dedicates this award to his community of rare disease fighters, whose strength continues to fuel his mission.

From Local Hero to Global Voice
This achievement marks just the beginning. Wissem will now go on to represent Tunisia internationally at the upcoming JCI World Congress 2025, set to take place right here in Tunisia. A powerful moment for the nation, as one of its own steps onto the global stage.
