Mais le secteur y est promis \u00e0 un bel avenir gr\u00e2ce notamment au d\u00e9veloppement rapide des installations destin\u00e9es aux consommateurs commerciaux et industriels.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Quelque 949 m\u00e9gawatts (MW) de nouvelles capacit\u00e9s solaires ont \u00e9t\u00e9 install\u00e9es en Afrique en 2022, selon un rapport publi\u00e9 le 18 janvier par l\u2019Association africaine de l\u2019industrie solaire (AFSIA).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ces nouvelles capacit\u00e9s, qui repr\u00e9sentent une croissance de 14% par rapport \u00e0 l\u2019ann\u00e9e 2021(833 MW), portent le total de la capacit\u00e9 solaire install\u00e9e sur le continent \u00e0 12,4 gigawatts (1 GW = 1000 MW).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bien que le d\u00e9veloppement de l\u2019\u00e9nergie solaire en Afrique ait \u00e9t\u00e9 historiquement port\u00e9 par une poign\u00e9e de \u00ab&nbsp;hotspots&nbsp;\u00bb tels que l&rsquo;Afrique du Sud, le Maroc et plus r\u00e9cemment l&rsquo;\u00c9gypte, de plus en plus de pays du continent adoptent cette \u00e9nergie propre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En 2022, 30 pays africains ont construit des installations solaires d\u2019une capacit\u00e9 sup\u00e9rieure ou \u00e9gale \u00e0 1 MW.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sur ces 30 pays, 16 pays ont install\u00e9 plus de 10 MW et 2 pays ont install\u00e9 plus de 100 MW.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">L&#8217;empreinte croissante de l\u2019\u00e9nergie solaire sur le continent devient encore plus prometteuse si l&rsquo;on consid\u00e8re les projets solaires annonc\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Durant l\u2019ann\u00e9e \u00e9coul\u00e9e, 49 pays africains ont en effet annonc\u00e9 des projets de construction d\u2019installations solaires ayant une capacit\u00e9 sup\u00e9rieure ou \u00e9gale \u00e0 1 MW. Parmi ces pays, 29 ont annonc\u00e9 des projets d\u2019une capacit\u00e9 de plus de 100 MW.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>L\u2019Angola, l\u2019Afrique du Sud et l\u2019Egypte en t\u00eate du peloton<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le classement des pays africains en termes de capacit\u00e9s solaires install\u00e9es en 2022 fait ressortir que l\u2019Angola tient le haut du pav\u00e9 avec 284 MW. Ce pays d\u2019Afrique australe a mis en service l\u2019an pass\u00e9 deux projets solaires \u00e0 grande \u00e9chelle (large scale), \u00e0 savoir la centrale Bi\u00f3pio (188 MW) et la centrale de Ba\u00eda Farta (96 MW), toutes deux d\u00e9velopp\u00e9es par le consortium MCA Group\/ Sun Africa\/Hitachi. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Avec de nouvelles capacit\u00e9s install\u00e9es de 111,8 MW, l\u2019Afrique du Sud occupe la deuxi\u00e8me position dans le classement devant l\u2019Egypte (80 MW), le Ghana (71,3 MW), le Mozambique (41,9 MW).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le rapport souligne d\u2019autre part que les installations solaires \u00e0 grande \u00e9chelle ont repr\u00e9sent\u00e9 la majeure partie des nouvelles capacit\u00e9s install\u00e9es en 2022 (629,8MW).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Avec 246 MW, les installations destin\u00e9es \u00e0 des consommateurs commerciaux et industriels (C&amp;I) arrivent en deuxi\u00e8me position devant les syst\u00e8mes solaires domestiques (67 MW), les mini-r\u00e9seaux (mini grid\/ 5 MW).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Les installations d\u00e9di\u00e9es au \u00ab&nbsp;Wheeling&nbsp;\u00bb (transport de l\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 en utilisant le r\u00e9seau de transmission national \u00e0 des consommateurs \u00e9loign\u00e9s des sites de production) arrivent en derni\u00e8re position en termes de capacit\u00e9s install\u00e9es au cours de l\u2019ann\u00e9e \u00e9coul\u00e9e avec 0,9 MW.<br>&nbsp;Le rapport fait remarquer dans ce cadre que le segment des installations destin\u00e9es \u00e0 des consommateurs commerciaux et industriels a enregistr\u00e9 la plus forte croissance en 2022 (+61% par rapport \u00e0 2021) devant les syst\u00e8mes solaires domestiques (+20,7%) et les installations \u00e0 grande \u00e9chelle (+1,7%). Le segment des mini-r\u00e9seaux a, quant \u00e0 lui, enregistr\u00e9 une r\u00e9gression de 18% par rapport \u00e0 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">L\u2019Association africaine de l\u2019industrie solaire rappelle par ailleurs que l\u2019Afrique fait figure de petit poucet en mati\u00e8re de d\u00e9veloppement de l\u2019\u00e9nergie solaire \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle mondiale.
